Frequently Asked Questions
This is tricky because Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) are a snapshot in time of an employee’s driving history, which could include violations, suspensions, CDL information and others. While MVRs are a great tool for pre-screening drivers and is the minimum requirement for CDL drivers, it provides information that is good only for the day the record was pulled. Employers are often exposed to liability if an employee has accumulated new moving convictions or unnoticed suspensions, which might not be detected during long gaps in MVR reports. Of course, the more frequently that MVRs are pulled, the more insights you have as to who is valid to be behind the wheel.
Our driver license monitoring technology streamlines the driver record review process and makes it easy for you to know whether your drivers have valid licenses or not in real-time. Our system connects directly to state licensing departments (DMVs) and monitors violations or negative changes to drivers’ records on a monthly weekly or daily basis (varies by state).
Any company that has drivers who drive as part of their job benefit from this service. We work with companies and organizations in both the public and private sector of all sizes, from 10-10,000 drivers. It not only reduces their administrative burden of manually reviewing MVRs, but also minimizes risk associated with having invalid drivers on the road.
We begin my pulling a baseline MVR to establish a baseline score for your drivers. From then on, monitoring begins and we’d notify you via email whenever there’s a negative change like a DUI or suspension.
Our Driver License system can be accessed 24/7 for easy reporting and metrics. It allows you to categorize and/or compare violations across jurisdictions and allows you to review violations by applying a consistent standard.
